The Space:
Bordered by National Park, this comfortable home overlooking Yallingup Beach has views that will leave you breathless. The ocean view extends over Yallingup Main break and across to Cape Naturaliste making it possible to watch local surf breaks, and passing whales during the winter and spring months.

The property is well suited for smaller family groups or a quiet adult retreat. Comfortably furnished, there are 3 bedrooms (2 queen bed, 2 single beds, to sleep 6 people total) all with linen, towels, pillows, doonas etc provided. The main bathroom has a shower and bath with separate toilet. For guests staying longer there is an adjoining laundry with washing machine & dryer.

The open living area creates an atmosphere of space and warmth. Large windows stretch the length of the room to create a backdrop of ever-changing ocean views. The sheoak timber kitchen is equipped with all the necessities plus dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, and gas stove and oven. Relaxing on the lounge suite, you can gaze out over the ocean, read, listen to your favourite music or kick back and watch a DVD. A pot belly wood fire adds to the atmosphere of the roaring winter swell, and Reverse cycle air conditioning (living area and master bedroom) is added for comfort during all seasons. Outside is a wonderful extended deck and alfresco dining with Weber BBQ.

The Neighborhood:
Yallingup is an absolute mecca for visitors wishing to enjoy the true South West coastal lifestyle; if the water calls your name, look no further than this small but vibrant settlement on the Western side of Cape Naturaliste. A serious surfing hotspot, Yallingup is abuzz every morning with people eagerly pulling on their wetsuits, grabbing their boards and paddling out. Despite its size, the township is home to a number of awesome local businesses, including a pub (Caves House Hotel), general store & cafe, bottle shop, German bakery (Yallingup Gugelhupf), high end seafood restaurant/casual brekkie spot (Lagoon) and of course a shop for all of your surfing and seafaring needs! If you need more shops and amenities, Dunsborough is just a 10 minute drive away, and there are heaps more restaurants, cafes, wineries and breweries just on your doorstep. If you are in search of some different activities, you can walk a section of the Cape to Cape, visit Ngilgi Cave (just 5 minutes away), or Yallingup Maze.
It's not just about summer here, despite its popularity thanks to the glorious weather; all year round, even when we may be less blessed with warm days and sunny skies, visitors can enjoy hikes, biking, surfing, off-roading, horse riding, cave tours, water sports, fishing, wine and beer tasting, and generally eating and drinking one's way around the area! Visit in spring to catch the whale migration and wild flower season, or in autumn to enjoy quieter beaches and excellent surf.

Please see the Guidebook for our personal recommendations on where to eat, drink, shop and what to see & do in this fabulous region. This list is by no means exhaustive, however, so please get in touch if you need any pointers ahead of your stay.

The Margaret River Wine Region is one of the most prestigious winemaking areas in the world. Considered a “boutique” region, production is relatively small and quality-focused. The unique microclimates and fabulous soils here mean that producers are able to make some of the world’s best Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with a host of other single varietal and blend wines; most wineries will have a good selection of options, including various sparkling wines, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz if the flagship varieties aren’t your cup of tea. Many of these wineries are also home to phenomenal restaurants, and your dining options will range from full tasting menus to casual pizzas or grazing boards. If you have any particular restaurant on your wish list, we strongly recommend booking ahead all year round. In peak summer season (December-February), bookings are essential and may need to be made several weeks or months in advance. Please contact us directly if you would like tailored recommendations for your self-guided winery and/or brewery tour. If you have time, we highly recommend buying a ticket onto one of the many locally operated winery and brewery tour buses, for an unforgettable day out of excellent food and drink.

All linen is provided (excl. beach towels). All of our accommodation is fully self-catered, and as a courtesy we provide a basic starter pack for each stay, including: soap, toilet rolls, tea, coffee & sugar, basic cleaning products, and some cooking essentials (oil, salt & pepper). We provide these items to help kick-start your holiday in a stress-free way, but guests are responsible for the ongoing supply of anything they should require beyond the starter pack provided.

During winter months, we provide some complimentary wood, kindling, matches and fire lighters for houses with indoor fire places. Guests requiring more wood for their stay - or wishing to use the fire outside of winter months - will need to purchase their own, available at local service stations and hardware stores.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the existence of an invasive beetle (Polyphagous Shothole Borer (PSHB)) in the Perth Metropolitan Area, movement of PSHB host material such as firewood, tree pruning's, mulch (less than 2.5cm diameter), unseasoned wood, and plants (less than 2.0cm diameter) from within this area to areas outside is prohibited. To help STOP the spread, please purchase wood from the South West Area. (Advised by The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD)
