Dining and Eating Out

Positioned 200 metres above sea level on one of the highest points on the cape, Clairault Winery & Restaurant is one of the oldest vineyards in the Margaret River region with its first vines having been planted in 1976. Clairault is named after the nearby Cape Clairault, a prominent local landmark to the south of the popular surfing beach in Yallingup. Surrounded by majestic forest and looking out across the lush Clairault vineyard, the cellar door and restaurant oozes style. The executive chef produces seasonal menus that delight the senses, created from fresh locally sourced ingredients. At the cellar door you can taste award winning wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot, Shiraz, Riesling, Chardonnay, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and our Cape Pink. Clairault's commitment to quality and excellence is evident in the accolades and awards they have received for both the Cellar Door, Restaurant and their wines. In 2003 Clairault was awarded the Western Australian Tourism Award for Tourism Wineries. Clairault offers a stunning setting, exceptional wines and exquisite food.
