Only 13 kilometres from Dunsborough along a scenic drive is the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse and Maritime Museum. Situated on a rugged promontory, the surrounding environment is host to a diverse range of flora and fauna. A climb to the top of the lighthouse offers panoramic 360 degree views across Geographe Bay, the Indian Ocean and Cape Naturaliste.

The Cape to Cape Walk Track runs for 135 kilometres along the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, between the lighthouse of Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin in the far south west of Western Australia. The moderate Top Trail features spectacular coastal and forest scenery, a fascinating geology of cliffs, caves, headlands and rock formations and an ever-changing display of vegetation and wildflowers.

Positioned 200 metres above sea level on one of the highest points on the cape, Clairault Winery & Restaurant is one of the oldest vineyards in the Margaret River region with its first vines having been planted in 1976. Clairault is named after the nearby Cape Clairault, a prominent local landmark to the south of the popular surfing beach in Yallingup.

Kevin and Di Cullen planted a trial acre of vines at Wilyabrup in 1966 to form Cullen Wines. The encouraging results of this led to the planting of 18 acres of vines in 1971, including their first Cabernet vines. Daughter Vanya Cullen, took over the winemaking in 1989 and Cullen Wines has evolved into an estate specialising in single vineyard, premium quality wines, focused on wine integrity, rather than rapid expansion.
