Tanglewood is a two storey rammed earth and timber house ideal for groups or families wanting self-contained holiday accommodation close to Margaret River, local wineries, and the beaches.
The house is spacious with a large main lounge, dining room, TV/family room and a fully equipped luxury kitchen. There are 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms which easily accommodate up to 10 guests in comfort and privacy.
In warm weather the rammed earth keeps the house cool, and in winter the slow combustion fire warms the house.
Generous verandas invite you to chill out with a glass of wine while and enjoy the peaceful bush.

The main upstairs bedroom has a kingsize double bed and ensuite bathroom. There are three other bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen sized bed, and two each with 2 single beds. These share a second bathroom. The two downstairs bedrooms each have a queen sized bed, and share the third bathroom. There is an additional seperate toilet downstairs.
All linen is supplied, with the exception of beach towels. The house has a cot and high chair..
The kitchen is fully equipped with generous quantities of crockery, cutlery and glassware, as well as a microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The pantry contains essentials such as spices, salt and pepper, cooking oil, sauces and breakfast spreads. There is also a separate laundry containing an automatic washing machine, tumble-dryer and a large fridge suitable for drinks.
The entertainment area includes extensive verandas, with garden furniture and barbeques, outdoor play equipment, a comfortable lounge and a family room/ TV room.
Local attractions
Tanglewood is ideally positioned to explore the surrounding area. It is within easy reach of world-class wineries, restaurants, popular swimming and surfing beaches, caves, bushwalking and bike riding trails as well as a whole range of excellent local arts and craft galleries.
It is five minutes by car to Margaret River town or to the beaches at Prevelly and Gnarabup.
At the moment we leave a free night between each booking to ensure correct cleaning.
We require a minimum 3 night booking over long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 5 nights over Christmas or New Year.
